Bathtime Writing Practice

You may have seen earlier in the week, that I like to sneak in “reading and writing” practice with The Boy wherever I can. Earlier in the week, we started on our seedlings pots and the boy wrote his own labels. Result.

Today, I decided that a bit of reading and spelling in the bath wouldn’t go amiss. We like to keep it simple and fun.

I was rewarded with:

And we decided to write Daddy a message (who is away on a business trip):

Awe! Lovely! I may have to redo this picture (including feet) nearer Father’s Day!!

    I wish all parents were so keen to help their children in fun ways like this. As a former literacy teacher I know that not every child has support at home – your children are very lucky x
