Ok.. I think we all (now) know quite how different life as a mother is compared to life pre children. Life as we knew it has completely been turned on it’s head.

We look different. We eat differently. We sleep differently (or not at all).

Life evolves around little people that “control” our sleeping and waking life. Things we never knew existed are suddenly central and indispensable household items (I *whisper* the word *breast pump* and *nappy bucket*). And the house fills up with an ever growing mountain of things the baby, and later the children **need**. Until you are buried under a pile of child related “stuff”. Where did it all come from? And how can a little person need so much?

For some reason people either never tell you what it is really like. Or maybe they do tell you, but it goes in one ear and out of the other. Because, I can tell you, becoming parents was quite an adjustment for us!

So, when I saw this video, I have to confess it did make me giggle – Fiat have create a “Mother-Hood” song to show what life with after pregnancy, birth and with children is like. Love the play on gangster rap in the mother world.

What did you think of the video? Which bit could you relate to best? I think the sleepless nights, pooey nappies and weaning children sure stick in my memory of early parenting days. And these days I can certainly related to eating children’s left overs for dinner, rather than a proper “adult” meal. Sigh.

But it is all worth it, isn’t it? We do love our kids!
