The month ahead
|So… what are your plans for the coming weeks? I love to look ahead and see what is next.. for us, it is very much about St Patrick’s Day Crafts for kids, swiftly followed by some Easter Crafts Ideas! I love how the changing seasons bring a “change in colour”!! January was all about beautiful blues and whites.. followed by reds and pinks for Valentine’s Day. Now we are looking at greens for St Patrick’s Days and lots of gorgeous SPRING Pastels for Easter. So March will be all about the latter for us.
Whether you are loving Paper Crafts or looking for Preschool Crafts you are looking for, I am sure we have something for everyone to look forward too.
But it isn’t just about crafts though, is it? There are lots of things to do this time of year! There are books to read (we have some fabulously fun Pancake Day Books!) There are days out to plan (in fact, we have a great list of Things to Do in London for you to check out), there is yummy food to bake (who doesn’t like some chocolate nests or adorable Marshmallow Sheep Cupcakes?). I also adore this Butterfly Life Cycle Printable activity.. isn’t it fun?!
Of course, don’t forget that World Book Day is coming! We have some great STEAM Activities for World Book Day, as well as Last Minute World Book Day Costume ideas! Or simply make some lovely Corner Bookmarks to go with your favourite books! Good luck.
Ah yes. So lovely. Spring is most definitely in the air.. and we can’t wait to get stuck in! So we have stocked up on some pretty paper, refreshed our glue sticks and sharpened out pencils. We are so ready for some gorgeous Spring activities ahead. It is also time to get stuck into your garden don’t you think? Don’t know where to start with your garden? Fear not! We are here to help!
What are you most looking forward to in the coming months? are there any specific outing you particularly enjoy (like walking in the woods looking for bluebells or going to the sea side and getting windswept whilst looking for lovely shells..). We have a nice trip to Bath planned – just an over nighter. To explore another one of the UK’s great cities. We have a book on “A 100 Places of Great Britain” and are keen to explore more. With spring in the air, it is a perfect time to go and see and learn more about our own country. Especially as we LOVE to travel.. and tend to go “everywhere else apart from the UK”.. so a mini break it is. Having said that, I think my daughter is desperate to go to the sea side.. maybe we can somehow fit that in too! In the mean time the Roman Baths await!
Whatever you enjoy doing, I would love to hear about it!!
I am off to Glasgow to the Kid Lit festival – am so excited!
