Valentines Day STEAM Ideas
It has been a while since we shared some Science Activities here on Life at The Zoo for you.. so when I saw this great Valentine’s Day Steam Activities post over on Red Ted Art , I HAD to share it with you. These are a fantastic set of easy to do science activities for kids.
The thing about science and kids, is that it helps children to develop critical thinking skills. It teaches them to predict, to observe and above all to discuss. Science for kids is not about clever braniac or specific science knowledge, but about providing kids with a tool kit to problem solving and thinking for themselves. Though schools increasingly place value on academic success, they don’t always provide enough TIME in curriculum to support critical thinking.
