As a mother who decided to “stay at home” after the kids arrive, I do think it is important to be careful with our expenditures here and there. When we were both working and we had no kids, it was easy to be a little more frivolous. And sometimes it is good to get all the money saving help you can get.

I have known Becky for almost 3 years now (someone I met early in my blogging career) and respect her as blogger, author and friend. If anyone knows about saving (and making) money, then it is Becky and her advice is definitely worth listening too. The choice to stay at home was not a financially easy one for Becky, so I know that she really does know what she is talking about and that her ideas and suggestions have been thoroughly tested by herself!

What I love about them, is that you have a choice – she is not telling you to do all of them, but to pick the ones that suit you and your family and your financial situations. We can all be thrifty goddesses, but we can all make small changes in our daily lives that sum up to a lot of savings at the end of the year.
