5 Quick Makes for Fall & Halloween
|A quick post to help you this fall with some adorable Fall & Halloween Crafts! These are some of my favourite crafts, spotted on the wide web using printables. We love using the odd printable in our crafting, as it allows for a much quick set up, and super duper cute results. Great for you and great for the kiddos you are crafting with!
- 6 Pumpkin Templates for Fall & Halloween – these are fantastic for making suncatchers or as templates for seasonal art projects. Pitched at preschoolers or early elementary school children
- Skeleton Paper Puppets – the perfect STEAM project for either Halloween (used as plain skeletons or Day of the Dead (decorated in a Sugar SKull style). Students don’t only get to get arty, but they get to practice their scissor handling skills and learn about basic mechanics of making an articularted puppet
- 3d Gnomes & Gonks – learn how to make 3d Gnomes from Cones, with this (basic) free template. Easily customisable to suit all holiday seasons. What features would you add to your gnome? I do love the Halloween Gnomes.. but wouldn’t a Thanksgiving gonk with a pet turkey be adorable too?
- 3d Spider Coloring Page that will delight kids during some lesson plan down time. The spider is a free download (at the time of writing anyway!) and is part of a set of 5 creepy crawliers or 10 insect crafts. But I think the spider alone makes for a great Halloween craft!
- Halloween Paper Spinners – the basic set of this spinners, is once again free – students can have lots of fun decorating their own Halloween versions. A great STEAM project looking at optics and color theory
Anyway.. that was just a very quick medly of crafts to get you all set up for the coming months. Enjoy. If you have spotted any fabulous crafts you think I should be giving a go this holiday season!
