The Month Ahead (May)

Ah.. yes, it feels like we are very much still all about Easter Crafts! Well Easter is just around the corner and in our house the kids are in the middle of the Easter holidays! We do have an amazing Easter Bundle with 20 Pages of fun activities to check out, but that is all for the now… we are actually looking at the Month ahead.

May brings the beginning of the Summer term for the kids. My eldests is going to be doing his year 6 SATs and after that he is off on a 4 day residential with school to France. He is growing up far too quickly! Yikes. Before I know it he will be off to secondary school..

May also brings American’ Mother’s Day!! We had our Mother’s Day back in March.. but it is exciting to have this lovely annual celebration approaching in the US. As per usual we have some fantastic Mother’s Day Resources for you. From our Top Mother’s Day Crafts (a pretty comprehensive list of ideas ranging from cards, to gifts, to keepsakes) as well as some Printable Mother’s Day Cards – or even better – our handy Mother’s Day Bundle – over 24 pages to download, print and make. Mother’s Day sorted.

What else is happening in May? We have our May Bank Holidays! Always a great time to head to the seaside. Let’s hope the weather stays on side and we can enjoy some bright and sunny days. Nothing like a bit of beach combing, rock pooling with the kids and sea shell finding for Shell Crafts! But maybe we should save those for summer. I do like to get ahead of myself!

Alternatively London makes a great destination for the May Bank Holidays – especially with the warmer weather and brighter evenings. We adore London With Kids and have some GREAT Free Activties to do in London. The best way to sight see and enjoy the captial without breaking the bank.
