I say “presents kids can make”, these actually make lovely presents that “adults can make” too. The idea is that you get “Christmas Baking”, making any yummy traditional Christams cookie recipe that you love to make.
Wrap them nicely, add a little Homemade Ornament as a decoration and you have a wonderful Christmas kids, that either kids can make or you can. Basically, you can be as adventurous or simple with your recipes as you want to be. It is up to you really. There are some amazing Star Ornament Crafts here to browse.
TOP TIP: In Austria, we like to make 6-8 different cookie types and that makes the gift bags really sweet. But I also think they look great with just one type of biscuit. SHOULD you go for more than biscuit – then I suggest that you store each type of biscuit in a separate cookie tin, until you are ready to wrap them and give them. I find that if you have the same biscuits in the same tin/ or gift bag, the flavour mix and each individual sort is no longer as good.

Then wrap in a cellophane bag. Add a ribbon and your homemade ornament! If you need Christmas Ornament ideas, look no further and click on the link!
I do love it once they are all packaged up. Looks so festive!
We love these as gifts, as they are made with care and love, they beat Christmas commercialism and get the kids creative and baking! The kids could also have a go at making some fabulous Christmas Bookmark Corners or DIY Angel Ornaments! What are your favourite presents that kids can make?
